Assistant Manager, Global Talent & Fashion Partnerships (APAC focus), MACnBrand: MACnDescriptionnPRIMARY OBJECTIVE:nnWork with the Director of Talent Fashion Partnerships on coordinating partnership activity for the brand, with a focus on the APAC region. This includes supporting the talentfashion relations team(s) with talent selection for charitable brand initiatives, special product collaborations, brand partnerships, talent personal appearances and special events. Coordinate and manage MAC's talent related collaborations and event sponsorshipsgalas, specifically in the areas of charity, pop-culture and entertainment internationally. Special focus on China.nnRESPONSIBILITIES:nPARTNERSHIPS GENERALnStay current on International pop culture and partners; including artists, musicians, DJ's, television, fashion, art and film personalities, pop cultureentertainment events, venues etc.nAssist Director in identifying and negotiating partners for Regional-specific programs for APAC as well as managing deliverables for specific talent collaborations.nManage external partner-specific requests needed by multi-functional teams including online and social media special eventsactivities for APAC.nAct as day-to-day contact for APAC specific collaborations, ensuring all deadlines for collaborations are met and talent is engaged in programming and 360-digital plans.nMaintain external collaborations timetable alongside the administrator and Global Assistant Manager and work with the product marketing team(s), creative, consumer marketing and Artist Relations on meeting all deadlines and formulizing 360 launch plans.nSupport and work with APAC teams to secure external talentmusical performers at fashion week(s), market launches, store openings, future local opportunities, regional eventslocal galas and other special events relating to APAC.nCreate and manage database for regionally-relevant talent in the international markets.nHandle logistics and coordination of talent appearances, travel arrangements, itineraries, green room requirements, run of shows, in conjunction with team administrator.nAssist Director and work with internal legal partners on contracts with outside partners and collaborators for APAC.nExpand knowledge on Chinese landscape and familiarize yourself with cultural nuances.nACTIVATIONSnHandle planninglogistics for externalcharity-related events and event sponsorships outside of the USnManage event documents including drafting and maintaining creative requests, run-of-shows, recaps and task lists outside of North America region.nResponsible for managing event invitationsRSVP lists for all talent-related GC events with the region outside of North America regionnWork closely with creative and special events department on event logistics for all APAC events as related to talent.nMISCELLANEOUSOTHERnOversee the administrator and work in conjunction with the Assistant Manager, Global with creative mailings and determining which industry individuals should receive these items internationallynConduct research and provide talent, brand and designer recommendations on a monthly basis based on pop-culturetrend and brand pillar objectives.nManage International event allocated budgets and procurement for specific talent projectsevents and departmentnAssist with management of budget and track invoicing for all APAC collaborationsnQualificationsnPOSITION REQUIREMENTSnBachelor's Degreen3-5 years of communications, celebritybrand management, eventagency experiencenMust possess superb verbal and written communication skillsnSolid understanding of the APAC region and cultural nuances.
