Responsible for driving Salon profitability, customer service, hiring, training and developing associates and ensuring consistent policy and procedure compliance.
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales plan; identifies opportunities to grow the business and holds team accountable for achieving sales goals
Partners with Store Manager to monitor salon performance and address areas of opportunity (sales, customer satisfaction, safety, etc.)
Responsible for associate scheduling to ensure appointment availability; plans, assigns and directs work of associates
Partners with Store Manager to identify current/ future staffing needs; assists with hiring and recruiting
Responsible for daily & weekly Salon reports reconciliation;
Ensures compliance with CASE messaging and tasks
Responsible for expense management including labor expense, supplies, etc.
Responsible for managing salon supplies inventory and salon equipment replacement
Trains salon associates and ensure completion of all training requirements including: new salon associate training, salon academy training and annual safety certification
Leads the Salon team using the Success Factors;
Appraises performance; performs quarterly 1:1 discussions with each salon associate; coaches and develops Salon Associates
Creates a Positive Work Environment by assessing situations, coaching accordingly and rewarding & recognizing the team.
Responsible for ensuring salon associates deliver quality services that meet the Look Great Guarantee
Monitors the safety and well being of every pet and associate in the Salon and ensures salon associates follow Policies and Procedures
Maintains Salon compliance with company and government requirements
Responsible for ensuring Operational Excellence around the Look Great Guarantee
Responsible for monitoring customer’s satisfaction; partners with Store Manager to address areas of opportunity
Ensures completion and retention of client records/receipts
Grooms dogs to breed standards (up to 20 dogs per week varied based on salon volume)
Typically supervises 5-20 associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures. Responsibilities include associate development; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, providing input in employee performance, rewarding and coaching associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SUCCESS FACTORS
High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years’ related experience are required.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually high. Exposure to live animals and their handling is common.
