Responsibilities and Skills:
Maintain and work closely with local and overseas factories
Manage production schedules and meet delivery deadlines
Assist production and design team with pattern analysis and corrections and communicating to factories and cutting rooms
Maintain trim chart and make sure trims are delivered on schedule
Manage all fit samples. Work closely with onsite pattern maker and pull fabric and work with factory to make sure the sample is made properly
Create cutting tickets and give to corresponding factories
Correspond with overseas factories on all steps of production
Manage all fabric and trim inventory
Make sure bulk fabrics is delivered on time and arrange shipping method
Work with design team to make process from sample to production as smooth as possible
Check all patterns before production and communicate with Marker/Graders
QC production thoroughly and take action if needed
Must be extremely detail oriented especially with quality and overall look of garment
Oversee care label layout and manage inventory of all hangtags and trims
Manage all trims and notions inventory and responsible for placing orders in a timely manner
Review vendor manuals for all stores who have special requirements. Make sure all guidelines are taken into effect
Handle all stickers for main labels and make sure all factories have what they need
Manage production spreadsheet and T and A Calendar
Manage everyday workflow and communicate with all members of team
Coordinate PP’S and TOPS Status
Be very hands on and try to look out for issues before they arise
Various projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion preferred
2 Years working experience in Production (both domestic and import experience preferred)
Highly Organized
High Energy and Team Player
Must have a keen eye for detail and be extremely detail oriented.
Must be proficient in Excel
Must be good with numbers
Strong analytical, computer, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize and stay calm under pressure
Highly skilled in Excel, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
Must understand garment construction, technical specs and grading
