Title: Product Assistant

Responsibilities:
Assist with product development in collaboration with Manager as well as Design.
Communicate with factories to send cost targets, negotiate costing and source fabrics and materials.
Assist with gathering costs from factories at the style level, entering cost sheets and final margin analysis in PLM.
Monitor calendar deadlines and workflow with Design partners to ensure on time completion of each tasks.
Create and analyze selling reports and generate findings; basic knowledge of retail math is required.
Review developments and work with internal team and suppliers to resolve issues.
Set up and input all initial information at the style creation level in PLM. Ensure information is being edited and accurate throughout development.
Oversee label & pack entry at the style level as well as overseeing costing, sourcing and special projects.
Assist with showroom set up including steaming and folding samples and overseeing price stickering at the SKU level.
Ensure all product related data in market line sheets created by design team is correct.
Own the organization of samples and ensure all samples are labeled properly.
Assist with creating presentation boards for merchandising related meetings.
Schedule appointments and travel including vendor and customer meetings.
Follow time and action calendar and adhere to all deliverables.
Maintain PLM data entry and ensure information is accurate.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, Fashion or related field and 2-3 years of related experience preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills; detail oriented.
Flexible and adaptable to change.
Punctual and dependable, with great attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build strong, productive relationships with teammates and cross functional partners.
Basic understanding of product development and manufacturing process.
Strong communication and presentation skills. Comfortable negotiating and selling.
Experience working with PLM system is required.
Strong in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Retail math and analysis skills.
