Function Specific Activities:
Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) is building the eCommerce channel, which will provide exponential growth and opportunities. We are seeking an individual contributor who can manage creative digital asset development, both internal and external, for the eCommerce team needs. The Digital Shelf Creative Manager – eCommerce will report to the Director of eCommerce Capability within the eCommerce team, which is responsible for growing and optimizing our online assortment, managing our presence across eRetailers, providing sales training and insights, and driving partnerships with new eCommerce formats like direct to consumer, click and collect, and food delivery.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation of product images for use in eCommerce retailer sites.
Use knowledge of products and packaging hierarchies to drive the creation of product images.
Gathering and organizing product and packaging assets needed to complete the creation of product images.
Ability to evaluate images for accuracy, composition, lighting, shading and other subjective criteria to ensure image quality and consistency with Coca-Cola’s product portfolio.
Communicate clearly with the agency, in their terminology, to instruct what changes need to be made to meet the brand standards of the product images.
Digital Asset Management.
Develop world class strategies for content syndication and digital asset prioritization.
Develop capabilities roadmap for managing internal digital assets to be used for eCommerce. Includes creative assets, product images, packaging files, etc.
Serve as subject matter expertise (SME) for initiatives that impact eCommerce such as Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Manager (DAM), Kwikee, etc.
Lead the creation of enhanced content.
Using available assets found within existing DAMs, create enhanced content for use on eCommerce retailer websites.
Work collaboratively with brand teams to ensure the brand voice is on message across eCommerce activations.
Work with internal teams to publish the content across multiple retailers.
Own eCommerce Digital Shelf creative strategy.
Support broader eCommerce initiatives by providing subject matter expertise to engage with brand, account and bottler teams on the importance of eCommerce content and best practices for driving consumer engagement on the Digital Shelf.
Lead brand teams in guiding the creation of content for the Digital Shelf that meets our best in class goals by providing guidance and best practice strategies on succeeding with Digital Shelf content.
Manages multiple resources for world class content creation
Leads the development of content with outside agency resources, ensuring adherence to Coca-Cola brand standards.
Development of creative briefs that ensure agency alignment to eCommerce content strategies.
Oversees inside resources in the development of creative content ensuring adherence to eCommerce team priorities.
Develops eCommerce team strategy documents both internally and with outside agency resources.
Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Communication or related work experience
Related Work Experience:
5-10 years experience in packaging and basic knowledge of package printing and color management.
3-5 years experience managing photography projects and guiding agencies in photography style. Bonus for work with product photography.
Proven track record in managing design agencies or designers in creative execution.
Ability to design content for time sensitive materials on an as-needed basis.
Experience with digital asset management and developing strategies for content organization and distribution.
Strong knowledge of Global Trade Item Number and Universal Product Code (GTIN/UPC) product codes and working with product packaging hierarchies.
Proficiency in industry standard design software; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and standard Office suite.
Knowledge of photography, especially related to product photography and lighting.
Knowledge of content syndication services a plus.
Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central a plus.
Knowledge of Global Standards 1 (GS1) product standards a plus.
