We are currently seeking a creative, bright, motivated individual to join our Sales Team and take on the role of East Coast Key Account Executive. The EC Key Account Executive manages wholesale major department store, online, and specialty chain accounts through a combination of showroom sales, financial analysis, product knowledge, and communication with buying and planning teams. The position requires teamwork and relationship building, both internally and externally. This person must be dedicated to the brand, represent our core values, and communicate our goals and initiatives effectively while achieving sales goals.
Strong knowledge and experience in contemporary apparel brick & mortar and online Develop and maintain strong relationships with Management and Buyers at key accounts Sells, negotiates, communicates, and presents brand strategies and initiatives Adhere to and monitor Time and Action calendars for all retailers Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales growth, ensure profitability, and reduce inventory liability Analyze business by style and by door for each account, understand six-month flows, financial plans, and how to manage to ship goals on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual basis Work directly with buying and planning teams for each account to manage and track replenishment accurately, review seasonal sales and receipt plans, as well as profitability by month to maintain a healthy business Works closely with accounts to create a product assortment appropriate for their customer, as well as exclusive product where appropriate Work directly with VP of Sales to develop and forecast sales plans Manage Marketing Coop by retailer/department to ensure branding in-store and online Utilize CRM and analytical tools and processes to achieve directives Perform market/competitive performance analysis to maintain and provide detailed knowledge of the industry and competitive environment Partner with internal departments, i.e wholesale, customer service, design/development, production, and planning to establish strong working relationships
5-7 years previous experience in apparel sales with industry leading brands in men and/or women’s markets Bachelor’s degree preferred Ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative team environment Strong detail-orientation, follow through, retail math, sales analytics and problem-solving skills Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word required Engaging and capable, with highly effective interpersonal and written & verbal communication skills Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion to drive business Travel required Exceptional references
